with a legally registered UAE Will.

Secure your legacy with a professionally drafted and court-registered Will. Through our partnership with A&A Associate, RAKEZ clients now have direct access to this essential service at pre-negotiated rates.

Key Features

Legally Registered

Your Will is drafted by qualified professionals and registered with the relevant UAE authority DIFC, Dubai Courts, or ADJD giving it full legal standing across the Emirates.

Full Asset Coverage

Cover all UAE-based assets including bank accounts, property, business shares, vehicles, and personal belongings. Guardianship provisions for minor children can also be included.

Expat-Specific Expertise

Tailored for the UAE’s expatriate community. Our specialists understand the cross-border complexities that come with assets and beneficiaries spanning multiple jurisdictions.

Available Will types

ADJD Will

The most comprehensive and cost-effective Will registration in the UAE.

What You Get

Administered by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, the ADJD Will is the most inclusive and cost-effective option available open to both Muslims and non Muslims, covering assets across the entire UAE, and fully online. It is the recommended starting point for most RAKEZ clients.

DIFC Will

Internationally recognised asset protection for non-Muslims.

What You Get

Administered by the DIFC Wills Service Centre, this option provides a robust, internationally recognised Will that excludes assets from Sharia succession. Ideal for non-Muslim expatriates with cross-border estates or international beneficiaries.

Dubai Courts Will

A locally registered option for UAE asset protection.

What You Get

Registered directly with the Dubai Courts, this is a straightforward option for clients looking to cover their UAE-based assets. Requires Arabic legal translation as part of the registration process.

Frequently Asked Question

Who needs a UAE Will?

Anyone with assets in the UAE, property, bank accounts, business interests, or personal belongings should have a registered Will. Without one, your estate may be distributed under UAE default rules, which may not reflect your wishes.

All three are valid UAE Will registration options, but serve different needs.

  • ADJD (Abu Dhabi): The most cost-effective and inclusive option. Open to both Muslims and non-Muslims, it covers all UAE assets via a fully online process.
  • DIFC (Common Law): Strictly for non-Muslims. It uses a Common Law framework (similar to the UK) and is ideal for those seeking international recognition and total exclusion from Sharia principles.
  • Dubai Courts: A locally notarized option for both Muslims and non-Muslims. It is best suited for securing UAE-based assets through the local Dubai judicial system.

A Single Will covers one individual. A Mirror Will is designed for married couples and allows both partners to set out matching wishes — such as leaving everything to each other and then to their children — within a single combined process, at a reduced combined rate.

After submitting your enquiry through the RAKEZ portal, our team will contact you for a consultation call to understand your wishes, assets, and beneficiaries. Your qualified professional will then prepare your Initial Draft within 3 working days. Once approved, your Will is submitted to the relevant court or authority and officially registered.
